Drs. Parungao and Izquierdo will also see patients in their new Naperville, Ill. offices, and Dr. Parungao will practice in Vernon Hills, Ill. at the Ritacca Laser Center as well. "My parents came to the U.S. from the Philippines with only two suitcases," says Dr. Parungao. "They both became physicians and have always talked about how lucky they were to come to the U.S. and do so well. Hearing that for many years growing up has always made me feel patriotic toward America." For more than 20 years, Dr. Izquierdo has specialized in cosmetic plastic surgery. "I do about one-third facial surgery, one-third cosmetic breast procedures--breast augmentation and breast lift--and one-third body contouring procedures such as tummy tucks and liposuction," he explains. "I also perform reconstructive surgery such as breast reconstruction, breast reduction and skin cancer surgery." Like Dr. Parungao, Dr. Izquierdo has an interest in giving back to the community.
